Each Message, Menu and Daily Greeting action in a Call Flow requires an audio recording (prompt).
To import a new recording:
Select the Recording radio button and click Recording for the applicable action (Menu, Message, Daily Greeting). The Recording Status window appears, and a status of Recorded or Not Recorded is displayed in the Status field.
NOTE: When you press Recording to open the Recording Status window, any changes to the Call Flow are automatically saved.
Click Choose File and import the required file from your system. The Status is now Import Pending.
Click Start Import
to import the prompt.
If the import is successful, the Status
changes to Imported; when
you close the pop-up window, the Status
changes to Recorded.
If the import is unsuccessful, the Status
changes to Import Error. Ensure
that the file you are trying to import is properly formatted.
NOTES:
You can import a prompt one at a time, or specify all the prompts to import and then press the Start Import button.
You can record for Menu/Message and Daily Greeting actions through TUI.
You can select a pre-recorded message for your prompt in a Call Flow. Change the Prompt selection to Greeting Type and then select a Greeting Type and Greeting Set (if available).
Templates configured in the VM Call Flow Administration form can access all the Auto-Attendant greetings programmed in the System Audio Source Update form. This includes the Primary and Alternate Greeting Sets (all) for each Greeting Type:
Bilingual Welcome
Business Open
Business Closed
Temporary
Default Mailbox
Mailbox Call Flows configured in the VM Mailboxes form can access the two prompts recordable in the mailbox (see below). These prompts can be changed by logging into the mailbox, selecting User Options, and selecting the prompt to record:
Main/Business Open
Temporary
Only System Administrators are able to import recorded prompts.
To be imported into a Call Flow, an audio recording must meet certain conditions (See Format).
If you are unable to import an audio file, verify that your web browser security settings are correct. To do this, click the Start button and type Internet Options in the search box. Select the Security tab and click the Custom Level button. In the Miscellaneous section, ensure that Display mixed content is set to Prompt. If Display mixed content is disabled, file import will fail.
